Today’s creative gift is a fun one for kids and adults. There is a reason that making your own bath bombs is so popular! It is fun to do. In my opinion, it is actually more fun to make them than to use them! I am guessing I am not the only one that loves feeling like a scientist!
This gift is perfect for anyone who has a pinterest board full of DIY ideas, but would appreciate a little “help” on actually doing them! 🙂 Read More →
The blogosphere is already inundated with bath bomb recipes.
BUT, you will never find an easier or more fun way to make bath bombs than what I’ll show you here.
What makes my version so easy?
It uses already scented and moisturizing epsom salts. No need for additional coconut oil, essential oils, etc… (I am a huge fan of Dr. Teal’s products. You can read about some of my favorites here.)
Also, because I use a mooncake mold to create them, you are not limited in how many you can make at once. If you use silicone molds, you can only make as many as there are molds (at least at one time).
What makes my version so fun?

Let me tell you a story.
My middle son absolutely LOVES arts and crafts. Now, painting is definitely not my favorite activity because it is always such a mess, but he begged me to let him paint, and I gave in.
I set him up with his paint set, newspaper on the table, a cup for rinsing out his paintbrush, etc..
When he finished his artwork, he put everything away, including the cup of dirty water in the sink.
While the dishes were piled in the sink, the paint residue from that water cup managed to get on some of my plates, and to this day, two of my plates STILL have paint spots on them!
Why do I tell you this story? Because when I actually TRY to get paint to stay on plates, it has never worked!!!!
That is, until now! Read More →
