I have fallen in love with the modern clean look of embroidery hoop wreaths.

I decided that I was going to make one for spring.  However, when I made one (the largest wreath you see), it was completely dwarfed by my wall.  It looked great on a smaller wall, but I really wanted it in this spot.

My mom gave me the great suggestion of making a little gallery of embroidery hoop wreaths.

I pulled out my collection of embroidery hoops and started playing around with their placement.

I didn’t want to put any more nail holes in my wall, so I used poster putty to stick them up.  Since the hoops are so lightweight, the putty works great!

I made some of these flowers freehand, some using a small paper punch, and some with a the Cricut 3D Floral Home Decor Cartridge.

I had a general idea of the colors and balance I was going for, but I didn’t have an exact plan when I started.

All of the flowers and leaves are attached with hot glue.

They turned out every bit as beautiful as I hoped!

I am almost sad to take them down in a week to put up my summer decor!
