Birthdays are always fun – whether you are a kid or an adult! I guess it is nice to have a day that is solely dedicated to celebrating your existence!
Like a lot of people, we have certain birthday traditions that our family looks forward to. In our family, the birthday boy/girl gets to pick what they want for dinner and what they want as their dessert.
Also, I don’t know about your school, but at least in elementary school, bringing treats in to share with the classroom is a big deal, too!
Our middle son is turning 10 soon and as you can imagine, he is VERY excited!
Although we usually don’t do big parties or anything very extravagant for birthdays, we do try to make the birthday boy/girl feel special!
To help channel all of that excitement and anticipation, I came up with the idea to make a fun “worksheet” for the birthday boy/girl to fill out with all of their birthday wishes!
I love that it was very intuitive for our son to fill out. Without any guidance from me, he filled it out exactly how I intended it to be used. Yeah!
*After I created this and gave it to my son, I decided to change the title to “It’s My Birthday” instead of “It’s Your Birthday.”
