There are a lot of blogs out there, and I follow quite a few.  However, there are some blogs that I always look forward to reading.  I thought I would highlight some of the blogs that I get excited about when I have a new post in my mailbox. I hope you enjoy these as much as I do!

Hungry Happenings

Serve up some fun this summer by creating festive desserts for a beach themed party.

This blog focuses on adorable desserts for themed parties or holidays.  Beth is so talented, and she gives great tutorials on how to recreate her amazing desserts!

Delia loves modern, clean lines and her favorite colors are black and white.  She also is an avid sewer and crocheter.  She has three young kids, so she often shares kid-friendly crafts.

The Small Things Blog

Glamour_No7_roundtwo-4

This is a beauty blog, although since Kate had her first son a few years ago, she also has started blogging about general motherhood and raising her two boys.  I am really not that into beauty blogs, but I do love her hair tutorials that you can actually do, her great personality, and her down-to-earthness.  This is a beauty blog for regular people!

Chef in Disguise

olive oil and seeds bread chef in disguise

One of my all-time favorite things about the internet (aside from Amazon!) is that you can learn about the world.  This is a food blog written by Sawsan, a Palestinian orthodontist who is currently living in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) because of her husband’s job transfer.  She takes really beautiful photographs and loves to take her kids on educational outings.  Since I love learning about different cuisines, this one is great for Middle Eastern food (although she makes everything, not just Middle Eastern Food).

Chef in Training

Slow Cooker Creamy Sun Dried Tomato Chicken... A delicious and creamy chicken recipe that is loaded with amazing flavor! The sun dried tomatoes and basil truly make this meal outstanding!

Nikki’s recipes always turn out GREAT!  She is a from-scratch kind of girl, and her food is always super yummy  with flavors that the whole family will actually like!  She really likes creamy food – so a lot of her recipes reflect that.   Since she is a home cook,  she shares great tips on making the food with a minimum of dishes and mess!  I have picked up several great mess-saving techniques from her.

It’s Always Autumn

http://www.itsalwaysautumn.com/

Cool! Put a favorite photo inside text for a modern, DIY typographical throw pillow. Click through to learn how. DIY home decor.

I LOVE this blog!  Autumn posts about all sorts of domestic things, kind of like I do (only she is way better at it!)  I love the way I feel like I am talking to a neighbor when I read her blog – completely relatable!  She has five kids, so she has lots of great, doable ideas for kids.

A Family Feast

White Barbecue Sauce Pork Ribs

This blog is by a husband and wife duo, Martha and Jack.  Their food is always great, and they have such a wide variety of recipes they feature.  They post pretty much every day, so there is always something to inspire you!

That’s My Letter

Jaime can do ANYTHING with wood, and she does it so professionally!  I love to see what amazing things she has built.  I am not even remotely up to her skill level, but she inspires me to try new things and to have the confidence that I can do it (eventually!)

I hope you check these blogs out.  It is pretty amazing at the wealth of knowledge and talent that others are willing to share with us – and all you need is an internet connection!
