So there you are on a date with your hubby. You’ve had a fantastic dinner, and you excuse yourself to the bathroom. As you are washing your hands, you do the obligatory teeth check, to discover that you have food in your teeth.
After saying to yourself – “WHY didn’t my husband TELL me there was something in my teeth???” – you grab a paper towel to get it out.
Well, I have some places on my teeth that are always catching food, and sometimes a paper towel doesn’t work.
Here is a quick tip – use your earring!
This trick has saved me on multiple occasions and hopefully it can help you, too!
Rachel, I confess, when I read this, I thought, “Ew.” BUT THEN I was at the lake for a week and got a raspberry seed jammed between my front teeth and my permanent retainer. No amount of brushing or flossing would free it. It was large and wedged in there so tight. I happened to have a pair of studs with me, so I used the post of one, and let me tell you, I had to push really hard and work it out of there, but it came out! Two days of irritation over! I’m not even sure what I would have had at home that would have gotten that out. You’re a genius. I’ve known it for years. Miss you.
April, I am smiling so big right now! I am so glad that this trick helped you out! I almost didn’t post this because it is a little gross, but it seriously has been a lifesaver for me on a couple of occasions, so I decided to post it anyway! Miss you, too!
